Cleft Lip

Cleft lip and palate (CLP) is the most commonly occurring craniofacial developmental abnormality, affecting one in seven hundred live births

There is preliminary evidence which suggests the suicide rate in adult individuals with a cleft lip is twice that of the normal population (Source: Psychological aspects of cleft lip and palate)
