Splenic Cyst

Splenic cysts are not particularly common, but may be caused by many pathological processes:

  • splenic epidermoid cyst : true cyst
  • hydatid cyst
  • post traumatic
  • pancreatic pseudocyst : adjacent to spleen
  • lymphangioma
  • haemangioma
  • pyogenic abscesses
